I get it, parenting is not what we expected. That is exactly why Unexpected Journey is my coaching company name. Parenting can be a reinvention of our identity. It can be a mirror to explore your strengths and personal growth opportunities. Through coaching with me it will be. You will find your authentic parenting style and goals making it easier to raise your beautiful children.

I’d love to share a wealth of experience and knowledge with you, so you don’t have to work as hard as I did. I've read the books, attended the conferences, talked to the teachers, therapists, doctors, counselors, listened to the podcasts, created parent workshops, created neuro-affirming social groups, and advised school leadership. All of this gives me a unique understanding of how best to coach parents with spicy kiddos. Coaching with me will expedite your ability to raise your child/ren in your unique way but with more skills, confidence, support, and encouragement. I will not tell you what to do but will ask non-judgmental questions leading you to your truth, your parenting power.

Walking by myself one day I had an ah-ha moment: “My children were not what I expected but they were exactly what I needed.” Eventually I began to think, “How lucky am I for this opportunity to grow.” These statements became my mantra. So, if you are questioning your skills and want to learn proven parenting essentials or apply the wealth of knowledge you likely already have, coaching with me will be fun. You will find your stride.

My days are full of rewarding personal growth, perseverance, laughter, boundary holding, and connection with my children. Yours can be too. Drop me an email or visit my website to schedule your free intake session. I’d love to be on your team.

What Parents Say After Coaching With Me

Working with Jeannette made such a positive impact on my parenting. I felt supported and understood with some very challenging parenting issues, including parenting kids with neurodiversity. Jeannette provided practical tools and suggestions without judgement, that helped me set better boundaries with my kids around screen time. Working with Jeannette helped improve communication with my husband so that we were on the same page on boundaries and sharing parenting responsibilities in a way that felt more equitable. I would highly recommend working with Jeannette as a parent coach particularly if you’re the parent of a neurodiverse child. Her expertise and patience created a safe place for me to address very challenging situations with far more confidence, skill, and patience that I had before working with Jeannette.

I'm much better at articulating myself in writing and so I wanted to say once again how very grateful I am for the coaching sessions. I can see why you are a parent coach, because you're clearly a natural. You gave me so much great advice, but also found a way to pull out knowledge and skills that were already inside of me. In this relatively short amount of time, I've learned so much about myself, my family, and my parenting that I would have not been able to get anywhere else. I'm feeling more on the hopeful side because I do think that over time these lessons will really help me and my family. You've helped me focus on connecting with my kids, which that in itself seems like the most valuable lesson I could possibly learn on this parenting journey!
