Angie Collins
As a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, I work specifically with mothers who want to discover ways to empower their daughters.
You want to be sure that you’re providing your daughter with the best environment in which to thrive. But when you feel overwhelmed by the media that sends you mixed messages, your own peers who judge your parenting choices, or “experts” who seem to constantly shift their “best practice” recommendations, you can, understandably, feel lost.
And that’s where I come in.
As a Parent Coach, I will work with you in one-on-one virtual sessions to co-construct ways to build your confidence as a parent and help you to feel empowered so that you can empower your daughter.
Whether you are looking for ways to help your kindergartner adjust to a new school environment, searching for something to make your morning routine run more smoothly for your third grader, or hoping to connect with your seemingly distant tween, our discussions are personalized to meet your individual needs and build on your individual strengths to find solutions to your challenges.
In addition to being a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, I hold a BS in Elementary Education and an MA in Education. I have also taught kindergarten, grades 2 and 3, and I have worked as a Preschool Teacher Trainer.
My education and previous work experience have indeed prepared me for my current career as a Parent Coach, but raising my own daughters in various countries around the world has shown me the power of confidence, communication, and connection in parenting. My twin 15 year olds and 13 year old girls have experienced life in Vietnam, Botswana, El Salvador, Kazakhstan, and now the United States. While the challenges may have varied from country to country and in each new developmental stage as my daughters grew older, my goal of raising strong, kind, empowered girls who we enjoy spending time with—did not. Since 2017, I have enjoyed working with moms to identify and co-construct plans for reaching their own family’s goals.
I’d love to chat with you - just send an email to ParentCoachAngie@gmail.com. And if you’re a podcast listener who feels inspired by other moms, stay tuned for my podcast “Everyday Mom Stuff” that will be released in December 2020!
