Parenting is hard and essential work. At times we are engulfed by frustrations, worries, exhaustion, reactivity, even (often!) guilt. Any one of these can feel overwhelming as we work hard raising our children. How would it feel to experience calm confidence as you parent, and relish deeper, more meaningful relationships with your children? How would it feel to live the cooperation, collaboration, and honest and respectful communication that you can have with your children and others in your life?
My passion for supporting families has extended for over 40 years, and I hope to do so for many more years to come. My work as a coach has influenced me in powerful ways and I’ve been grateful and blessed to work with many parents seeking to create real and positive change—and doing so! Along with coaching, I have found writing to be one of the most meaningful ways to connect with and inspire parents. Along with my blog, www.justaskalice.org, I am an author of three parenting books—Parenting Inspired: Finding Grace in the Chaos, Confidence in Yourself, and Gentle Joy along the Way; PAUSE: The Power of Parenting (and Living) with Calm Connection, and Parenting Through Relationship: Ideas and inspiration to help you be the parent you intend to be.
You can find all three books here: https://www.denaliparentcoaching.com/books/
Along with writing and coaching, I’ve raised two lovely daughters alongside my husband, co-taught an infant-toddler center, mentored daycare providers and parents, taught parent education classes, led workshops, been a caregiver for many families over the years, and volunteered often. I feel renewed each time I spend time with any child who graces my life; I feel honored each time a parent reaches out and connects with me, sharing genuinely their desire for real and positive change.
Connect with me. Feel energized and empowered to grow, change and build the close, deeply connected, healthy relationships you want the most. Join me in changing the world, one (or more!) relationship at a time. It matters. You matter. Our children matter.
With joy and appreciation,
Alice Hanscam
