- Parent according to your true values and priorities
- Parent each child as an individual
- Connect deeply to your children
- Connect to your spouse through parenting
- Develop strength-based strategies to help with your parenting challenges
- Feel calmer, joyful, and fulfilled in your parenting
My mission
My goal is to help each parent become more connected to who he or she is as a parent, a spouse, and a person with a unique soul. Through connecting to their own positive core, each parent will be able to more authentically connect to their spouse (if married), and their children in each of their own individual, unique personalities and temperaments. Parenting will then be a joyful experience where the parent uses parenting opportunities to grow, and is able to see the positive growth in the small (and not so small) challenges of parenting. Alongside this personal growth, and really because of it, parents will see improvement in confidence in their parenting skills and strategies, their relationships with their children, and will participate fully to solve their parenting challenges along the way!
Coaching
When coaching parents, I support parents to find their individual strengths that they can access within themselves, to grow in their parenting, and to meet head-on their current parenting challenges or concerns. Using research-based coaching methods, Jewish wisdom, and the latest in brain science, my approach to parent coaching helps you, the parent, discover what works in your context, based on your unique family and your individual child or children. I will work with you individually or as a couple to tap into your true values and priorities, nourish yourself in all areas, and co-construct strategies and approaches that will help you and your family thrive.
About me
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel in 2016. I have Masters degrees in Education and in Speech-Language Pathology, and have taught in middle schools and high schools, as well as Women’s Institute of Torah in Baltimore. Additionally, I worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Baltimore Public Schools, and for many years was a member of a multi-disciplinary team that consulted with and coached parents and teachers of preschool children with speech, language, sensory, learning, and emotional needs in the classroom and home setting. All of this experience in learning and teaching, working with children with many different needs, and mostly, raising my own beautiful family of six children, led me to this passion of working with parents. I realized more and more that the key to successful parenting is the parent!
What Parents Say After Coaching With Me
Working with Tzippy helped me move forward in my parenting in ways I did not know possible. She helped me clearly see my strengths and then guided me to use my strengths to meet my parenting goals. During our sessions, she was able to push me to see my goal and focus on the positive, when it is my nature to be hard on myself. I find myself parenting with a lot more comfort and ease, and I am able to see myself as the good enough parent that I really am, without letting my fears speak louder than reality. I highly recommend her services!”
