Your Parent Coach
One of the hardest and most rewarding jobs in the world is being a parent. It requires a lot of your time, energy, and focus. It can often leave you feeling drained, frustrated, and at your wits end. If you feel like your kids are not listening to you, there’s a breakdown in communication, and you are unsure of what discipline strategies to use, that’s where I come in. As your parent coach, it is my job to hear you, support you, aid, and guide you by asking you thought provoking and/or reflective questions and by highlighting the unique strengths and abilities you already possess to help you find the most suitable solution that reflect your values. Your uniqueness and set of tools assists you in handling situations and improving the dynamics within your family. Each family is authentic and has its own blueprint, it’s not a one size fits all. What works for one may not work for others. Parents know their family best. I show them the tools that they have that can help resolve issues they are facing, discuss strategies, but I don’t fix.
About Me
I am a Third Cultural kid: I was born in Canada to an Irish mother and an Egyptian father. My childhood and adult years were spent in the Middle East. I love to visit countries around the world to learn about different cultures and people. I have a B.A in Business Administration, I’m a qualified teacher and hold a Master’s in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey. I have 20 years’ experience in the field of education. I taught children from ages four and up. I enjoy helping people and seeing them better themselves, grow more confident, reclaim their power, and shine from within. Over the years parents have come to me for parental advice and that is what lead me to PCI, so that I could become a certified Parent Coach and help families locally and remotely around the world.
