Parenting, arguably the most important job we will do, comes with no prior education, or even “on the job training.” Parenting is so joyful, but also can be filled with worry, anxiety, and stress. Wouldn’t it be great to feel more empowered and confident in your daily parenting?

There are so many parenting books, experts, and opinions out there today that it’s hard to know what feels right. You’re tired of trying the same things and nothing feels like it’s working. Parent Coaching will give you new strategies and skills that will be personalized for you based on your family’s needs.

I don’t think there’s a parent that exists who doesn’t question themselves at times: “Am I doing this parenting thing right?” As a parent coach, I will provide you with the “safe space” to discuss your concerns. I will support, encourage, and guide you as you practice these new skills.

Being a parent to my daughter has been the most rewarding, meaningful, but most challenging role. She is now a young adult away in college. Seeing her grow into an independent, loving, caring, and spirited young woman has been the greatest joy of my life. I would love to bring this same joyful experience to your family.

After parent coaching you will:

  • Feel more confident in your parenting
  • Build greater communication and connection with your kids
  • Understand the meaning behind challenging behaviors and learn new strategies to deal with them
  • Strategies for sibling issues
  • Create and maintain boundaries
  • Understand how to regulate your behavior and be able to identify your triggers
  • Build regulation and resilience skills for your child
  • Help your child develop conflict resolution skills
  • Support for your screen time issues
  • Help you find more balance through self care, allowing you to be a more present and relaxed parent

What Parents Say After Coaching With Me

Jane Romeo is a skilled and compassionate coach. I came in with some insecurities about my family’s dynamics, and she helped me to face the situation without judgment and helped me strategize how to make changes. She helped me to see my strengths and not be afraid of my blind spots.

Jane is extremely thoughtful, patient, caring, and innovative. She brought a new perspective for me and helped me see things differently as a parent and in working with my husband as a team. She also helped me to carve out time for myself and find a little bit of me separate from everyone else—especially in these current challenging times—this was so important. I started working with her at the start of the pandemic and it was like she was sent to me at the right time, without her I don't know that I would have gotten through the first few months of remote learning and everyone home in one house. I was feeling depleted and she helped me regain my strength and confidence.

Jane was wonderful to work with. During a time when my stress level as a parent was the highest it’s ever been, she helped me to develop strategies and perspective. It was an hour a week just for me, whether I need to vent or bounce ideas. Jane gave me the safe space to do that, with a deeply caring and kind listening ear. She understood my family dynamics and my kids’ needs and helped me manage a time that was otherwise chaotic. Thank you Jane. Very appreciative of you!
