Welcome to Calm Waters: Your Parenting Journey Starts Here

Are you feeling like you're treading water, caught in the never-ending current of family challenges? Do behaviors—whether your children’s or your own—leave you feeling frustrated and overwhelmed? If you're ready to navigate your family’s unique dynamics with more confidence and peace, I’m here to guide you.

My Parenting Voyage

I’ve been in your shoes. Even with 30 years of experience as a beloved elementary teacher, after-school program owner, Kindermusik educator, and expertise in early childhood development, single parenting brought me face-to-face with a new set of challenges. At times, it felt like I was adrift in an ocean of conflicting advice, struggling to stay afloat in the chaos of raising children. My experiences showed me how tough it can be for parents to find their way amidst the turbulence of modern family life. That’s why I became a PCI Certified Parent Coach®—to share the transformative power of coaching with other parents. Because let’s face it, parenting was never meant to be done alone.

Parent Coaching: Your Compass in Uncharted Waters

Parenting can often feel like sailing through stormy seas with no clear map or destination. There’s no pause button, no universal guidebook, and some days the waves of family life keep crashing in. As your parent coach, I’m here to help you find your own compass—grounded in your family’s values. Together, we’ll chart a course that fits your unique family dynamic. I believe parenting is one of the most rewarding yet challenging roles we take on, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. That’s why my coaching is tailored to your family’s specific needs, helping you uncover solutions that bring calm, connection, and joy to your home.

Turning Conflict into Calm Waters

My specialty is transforming moments of conflict into opportunities for growth and deeper connection. Like sailing, parenting requires flexibility, patience, and skill to adjust when the winds of daily challenges shift. Through our work together, you’ll make subtle shifts in how you respond to your children, which will ripple out to calm the waters of your entire family life. Whether your children are toddlers or teens, I’ll help you steer through the rough patches and find the calmer seas ahead. With less stress, more confidence, and a renewed sense of connection, you’ll begin to experience more peace in your parenting journey.

What Does Coaching Feel Like? – My Approach

We’ll navigate both the stormy and serene moments together, facing fears, embracing challenges, and making gradual adjustments that lead to lasting transformation over time. Parent coaching with me is uplifting, collaborative, and empowering. I see teaching not just as imparting knowledge, but as inspiring individuals to unlock their full potential. I bring this philosophy into my coaching, helping you harness your natural strengths and parenting superpowers. Having been a single parent myself for many years, I know firsthand how challenging parenting can be. That’s why I offer support, empathy, and practical tools that will leave you feeling more grounded, calm, and confident in your parenting—whether you're co-parenting or on your own.

As you journey through this process, you’ll gain new insights and strategies that not only strengthen your parenting but also ripple out into every area of your life. You’ll walk away with actionable tools and mindset shifts that bring more clarity and calm to your family’s day-to-day life.

Do You Relate to These Parenting Challenges?

If you’re feeling weighed down by communication struggles, difficult behavior, technology concerns, or school-related stress, I’m here to help. I also work with parents dealing with separation, divorce, single parenting, and raising strong-willed children. No matter the challenges your family is facing, I’ll partner with you to develop personalized strategies, resources, and tools that allow you to navigate these waters with confidence, compassion, and curiosity.

What Parents Say After Coaching With Me

Coaching with Natalie was extremely effective and fun. I highly recommend her to anyone having to co-parent! I found Natalie super easy to talk to and she was able to give multiple perspectives on different situations that really allow you to put into perspective what's really BEST rather than right or wrong allowing for powerful and effective sessions and even if you don't feel it at first, you'll notice the difference in how you handle situations as they arise! Big thanks to Natalie for all her help!

How can words sum up gratitude for such insight and guidance!

After years of talk therapy, psychotherapy, for my son and myself, Natalie's parent coaching was recommended and proved to be so much more effective than any prior therapy experience.

Natalie has the ability to quickly connect to a person, and asks the right questions to understand the heart of the situation.

My son in his late teens had been struggling through high school and life. His issues had built up and I had anxieties and fear as a parent. At times I am sure my fears were apparent to my son, which certainly does not help. I sought Natalie's guidance so that I could change my thinking, reduce my fears and better support my son.

Natalie's years of teaching in the school system combined with her High emotional intelligence, and intuitive skills, in the first session it became easy to feel trust in her.

Instead of the expenditure of constant worry, working with Natalie was an investment in a healthier approach. With the implementation of her insightful and down to earth strategies, it could be seen week to week that things were getting better. I was feeling better.

It is a comfort to know that moving forward, if I ever need support for a family issue, Natalie will be there. She is one of the first people that I will call.
