My journey is very interesting one—from being a curious educator with passion for my own learning to finally fulfilling my dream to become someone who can help others to unfold their potential towards fulfilled lives of their own. I was able to achieve this moment after completing the PCI Certified Parent Coach® program.
I am a mother of twin teen girls. I have a happy family. We all enjoy traveling and learning about different culture and customs. As a teacher, I served in many education institutions locally in Pakistan and in some international schools outside Pakistan.
The key turning point in my life came after having my twins. I became self-motivated as a parent to better prepare myself for effective parenting. I immersed myself in learning about new parenting strategies as well as reading child development books, research articles, and new methodologies. And, of course, as an educator, I started to use what I learned with my girls. And continued to do so as they grew, always looking for opportunities of new methods and techniques. I did number of short courses, Montessori Program, etc. Finally, right on time and exactly in line with my goals and passion, two years ago I found PCI. I am so blessed that now as a PCI Certified Parent Coach® I have learned new ways to parent my twins as well as help parents to resolve their challenges.
I am amazed at all I have learned myself as a parent and as a teacher in PCI’s comprehensive program. I also delighted in the extraordinary positive results I saw in the parents I coached during my practicum at PCI. We PCI parent coaches use supportive methods that are unique and flexible according to the specific needs and challenges of each individual family. We coach parents in a highly personalized way.
What I mean by personalized coaching!
I observed during my PCI studies and coaching practice that, in order to help each parent refine their lives with effective parenting, there is a need to understand and address each specific situation. Using the effective PCI coaching methods by focusing on specific needs of each parent, we can make healthy and nonviolent families which will result in family-friendly communities.
With the support of personalized coaching, parents can feel confident, in control, and optimistic about the future, as well as have more fun with their families. I thrive in conversation with parents through coaching. Together we emphasize the center of their strengths, appreciation, flexibility, self-care, and quality of culture.
I believe that through personalize parent coaching, parents can easily find the bright patch to see their dreams come true.
