Being a parent is an amazing gift, yet at the same time, can be one of our greatest challenges. As a PCI Certified Parent Coach®, it would be my pleasure to work hand-in-hand with you as I guide you to lovingly create the family life of your best dreams and desires. I have been married for 37 years, and have parented two wonderful children who are now adults. I have worked with parents and their children as an elementary school teacher for over 20 years. I've taught Kindergarten for most of those years, but I have also taught grades 1–5. As a teacher, it has always been my joy to help families in any way I can. My PCI Parent Coach Certification® is a dynamic tool that has taught me how to combine my life experiences as a wife, mother, and teacher, with coaching skills and processes that affirm the positive things parents are doing. Through the coaching process, I can help parents discover their true and loving parenting heart.

I became a PCI Parent Certified Parent Coach® as a result of 20 years of teaching experience where I've seen first-hand the dramatic impact that positive parenting can have on student achievement. As a reading specialist I know that my struggling first grade readers, as well as the gifted students, deserve an effective, joyful parent. The parents I coach can depend on my enthusiasm, support, and resources to effect positive, fulfilling change in a stressful life. As a result of our coaching, you will be involved in a life-changing process that will improve the quality of you and your family's life. Join with me to be the best parent you can be!

I am married and the mother of two beautiful teenage girls. I have been working professionally with children and their families for over 15 years. As a new mom, I found myself interested in the growth and development of my daughter, and could be found reading as many child development and parenting books as I could get my hands on. It was during an infant parenting class that I realized my interest in children went beyond that of my own daughter.

I started a family day care in my own home and have never looked back. I returned to school to earn a certificate in early childhood education, worked as a parent volunteer at the cooperative preschool my girls attended, and then worked as a teacher for a private preschool. I have a BA degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and I'm thrilled to be a PCI Certified Parent Coach®reg;. While successfully managing my parent coaching and consulting practice, I am the Co-Director at the same cooperative preschool my daughters attended.

My passion is working to educate parents about early childhood and adolescent development and the importance of positive parenting in order to create a balanced and harmonious home. I look forward to the opportunity to help your family realize your dreams.

You have taught us the power of patience, communication and listening.

I am the mom of a middle school daughter and elementary school son. In pursuing my studies in media theory and media literacy at San Francisco State University, I became very concerned about mass media's impact on our culture. Seeking Parent Coach Certification® from the PCI was a natural fit. I am thrilled to be a PCI Parent Certified Parent Coach® with the opportunity to help parents successfully rear their children in our challenging media age. I work with my clients to help reduce their stress load in this chaotic society and to support them to achieve their highest aspirations. Since informed healthy parenting is essential for the health of our society, I see my work with parents as part of a larger contribution that excites and inspires me.

I've worked with children and families as a direct service provider and as an evaluator for over 15 years. But I consider my most rewarding and significant accomplishment to be raising my two daughters (ages 20 and 23)—which involved "on-the-job training" to address the needs of a highly gifted child. I would love to share my insights and collaborate with you on your parenting journey. We focus on promoting your self-care, while addressing your gifted child's unique intellectual, social, emotional and behavioral needs. We will confront the cultural bias against academic ability and intellectual curiosity. By sharing stories of our parenting discoveries we identify your deepest longings, unleash your creativity, and make your dreams come true!
